With its decision of May 12, 1998 (312 O 85/98), the 12th Civil Chamber of the regional court Hamburg decided that Web site operators can be held responsible for the contents of hyperlinked pages included on their Web sites. According to the regional court, this can only be prevented by expressly dissociates oneself from these contents.

13.05.13 - Heineken announced on Monday that it will tap Myanmar’s beer market through a joint venture with privately-owned Alliance Brewery Company (ABC), as its license has been approved by the Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC) to operate domestically. The joint venture between Heineken and ABC will be called APB Alliance Brewery Company. Heineken will own 57 percent of APB. [more]
